Dr. Katie Tucker
Pediatrician
Dr. Katie Tucker’s infectious smile and fun, bubbly personality are the first things your kids will notice upon meeting her. She grew up in a military family that traveled often, finally settling in Russellville, Alabama. After attending college at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), the Williams Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, MS, and completing her Pediatric residency at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV (where she served as co-Chief Resident, and received the honors of Critical Care Resident of the year and Kenneth A Starling Award), Dr. Tucker knew she wanted to come back home to Northern Alabama. She fell in love with Athens and looks forward to giving back to her new community. In her spare time, Dr. Tucker enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children, attending sporting events, crafting, baking new recipes, and doing Pilates. Dr. Katie’s motto “What you put into life is what you get out of it” and if you focus on your passions, it motivates you to accomplish your goals. Dr. Katie’s passion is pediatrics, and she is eager to provide the best possible care for the kids of Limestone County and the surrounding areas.
